Add Service Tasks to a Service Program
This guide explains how to add service tasks to a service program and link them to the correct service intervals. The service tasks form the basis of the checklist shown to the technician when service is carried out through a work order.
Prerequisites
Before you can add service tasks to a service program, the following must be in place:
-
A service program must be created
-
Service tasks must be created in the library
-
The role must have Read and Write access to:
Service → Service Programs
If you are unable to edit the service program, an administrator must review the role setup.
How to do it
-
Navigate to Service from the main menu.
-
Select the Service Programs tab.
-
Open the service program you want to configure.
If you have just created the service program, you will already be in the correct view.
Add service tasks
-
Click the row labeled Select from library.
-
Search for and select the desired service task.
-
Select which service intervals the task should be performed at by checking the relevant boxes.
-
Click New row to add more service tasks.
-
Repeat the process until all required tasks have been added.

Result
When the service tasks have been added and saved:
-
They are linked to the selected service intervals
-
They form the basis of the checklist during service execution
-
The tasks will appear in the work order when the service is performed
Important information
Remember to save as you go when adding service tasks.
Note: If a row does not have a selected service interval, the row will be removed when saved.
This happens because the system requires each service task to be linked to at least one interval.
